Everything, really...
The past in future tense

Home

again, tomorrow, yesterday (forever) | was that you I saw | Draper's list | their words | Spinning Plates (excerpts) | A treatise on being, we | back & forth (both) | The past in future tense

So, this is just a little page of pictures, mostly of my Grandparents on my Mom's side.  As some of you know my Grandma just died a month or so ago, and my aunt archived over a thousand old family photos and put them all on CD.  Here are some that have hit me particularly hard.

My Grandpa. (1958)

In the background are my uncle John and uncle Mike.  My grandpa is holding either my mom, or my aunt Aileen.

Class, pure.

My Grandpa in San Francisco after the war.  What has happened to this place.  Look at him, probably about my age now, maybe younger, and he looks, no, he is an adult.  A man with a suit, a plan, and a place in the world.

This could be a poster for Post WWII America.

My Grandma and Grandpa, in SF after the war.  My god.

He could've been a recruiting poster boy.
