The bad news is he fell off the bike:
He was approaching a stop light at the intersection with Route 2 and was slowing down when he veered left into the oncoming lane and fell, according to an Associated Press reporter who witnessed him fall. Secret Service agents and local police immediately stopped traffic while Kerry and a handful of bicycling companions moved to the shoulder.Link via Instapundit.

That guy is dead. He's a rail, he looks like a tall skinny (slow) climber in the same mold as one time contender (and doper) Alex Zulle (Swi). Anyway, he's a tool, falling off a bike. What a clown. Name: TonyI can understand the Kerry camp's desire to show Kerry as active and athletic, but how can a group of ostensibly world class political operatives not realize that if he gets on a bike, he might fall down. Also, if his foreign policy hasn't convinced people that he's a big fruit, those shorts should do the trick.
