I know what you mean! It's always a lot of pressure when someone new joins. Trying to be extra-interesting and more content-oriented, and keep the inside jokes and references to a minimum (or at least have them well-linked) to get them to stay. Alas, most of our posters are either hardcores or one-timers.

Also, we've been trying to break up this sausage party of late, too (promtped by the heartenting fact of getting a post from a real, live, female friend on page 10), so if you know any gorditas, send 'em over! Or, if you want to put on a dress while you type, we'll allow that too.

Also, here's a welcome note that I (it turns out, presciently) wrote a few days ago, describing the Blaahg to newcomers that might be a valuble orientation (if that's possible) to this mess.

P.P.S. I've found your political comments to be a breath of fresh air. Really the flip side of the Blaahg (we tend to stay away from that, so we can spend more time on Donut Updates, wacky news stories, and Mullets.
