I hope you get this. I scrolled *way* back for your most recent comment. I've had a few beers so I might've missed an earlier one. Hope you get an email update or something, anyway.

So I just read about Jonathan Lethem's new book and posted a thing about Lethem on my LJ. I remembered that you are a big McSweeney's fan, and also that Lethem is kind of like a Bruce Hornsby to McSweeney's as Grateful Dead. He published a novella with McSw, and he was subject of the first McSw Interview. You're probably the person I know most likely to care about Jonathan Lethem. Not sure that you'd like him, but he's worth checking out if you're into genre fiction, contemporary "hipster" canon of American Literature, and the McSw thing.
